"Amano Expects To Be 2010 Starter At Center"

Titans offensive lineman Eugene Amano lined up at center during the first two days of Organized Team Activities this past week at Baptist Sports Park, moving over from his left guard position from previous seasons. However, past experience will help him transition easily into the new role.

"No Talk Yet On Restructuring Collins' Contract"

From his locker at Baptist Sports Park, Kerry Collins said Thursday he expected to enter training camp as the team's backup quarterback behind Vince Young despite having a contract that is currently set to pay him starting money. Why? Jeff Fisher has told him money would not be a problem.

"Fisher: Johnson Will Eventually Come To Practice"

Even though the majority of the roster has shown up for the voluntary Organized Team Activities at Baptist Sports Park, the main storyline has been about Chris Johnson's decision not to attend. Jeff Fisher said he would expect the absences to end soon.

"Mawae Says Teams Don't Want NFLPA Prez On Their Roster"

The limited number of phone calls that free agent center Kevin Mawae received before the draft have come to a complete halt. Mawae, the president of the NFL Players Association, said it probably has something to do with his status in the union, not his abilities on the field.

The Titans were not among a handful of teams that have called to start setting parameters for signing free agent defensive tackle John Henderson, agent Tim McGee said Tuesday.

"White Holds No Hard Feelings For Titans After Trade"

The Titans gave LenDale White what he asked for and, for that, the running back is thankful. Tennessee traded the disgruntled running back to the Seattle Seahawks Saturday, closing the four-year chapter in Nashville for the former USC Trojan. Jonathan Hutton caught up with White before he caught a plan to Seattle.

"Cecil Got His Guy In Derrick Morgan"

Probably no one inside Baptist Sports Park was happier with the Titans first round selection of defensive end Derrick Morgan than Chuck Cecil. The Titans Defensive Coordinator needed to add a young pass rusher during the draft to improve a defensive front that produced 12 fewer sacks in 2009 than the season prior when the team finished 13-3. No player tallied more that five sacks in Cecil's first season at the helm of the defensive play calling.

"Titans Take Morgan At Pick # 16"

The Titans used its first round pick Thursday night in hopes of helping the defensive line get back to the form of recent seasons. The Titans selected Georgia Tech defensive end Derrick Morgan with the 16th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
